‘Terminator 5’ Fan Made Trailer Takes Viewers Back To ‘Judgment Day’
A fan made trailer of "Terminator 5" takes the viewers back to "Judgment Day," a day when most of the human race was wiped out in a nuclear holocaust. The plot element of time travel in the movies makes it possible to make some changes in the events of the past. [Spoiler Alert]
A fallen robot head and multiple nuclear explosions on earth can be seen in the fan made trailer. The nuclear explosions are shown in reverse, starting with the explosions and then showing the cities as they were. Click here to watch the video.
John and Sarah Connor had tried to stop "Judgment Day" from happening but had only managed to postpone it in the 1991 movie. Is the nuclear holocaust inevitable? Or will the heroes in "Terminator 5" once again try and stop it from happening?
In a recent interview to Huffingtonpost, cast member Jai Courtney spoke about what the fans of the franchise can expect in the plot of the movie. He said that "Terminator 5" will begin with a familiar place from the early movies. "It somewhat shifts the course of events from that point," the actor said.
Jai Courtney plays the role of Kyle Reese in the movie. Is the actor hinting at going back in time to events that take place in the early movies? All the previous movies, except the 2009 movie, involve time travel.
Speaking to MTV, star actor Arnold Schwarzenegger confirmed that the movie will have a time traveling element in the plot. He said that there will be two robots in the movie. The movie will focus on what the younger robot will do and then look at what happens when the robot gets reprogrammed.
In a separate interview to Collider, the actor said that "Terminator 5" will have the "same feel" as the 1991 movie of the franchise. The actor promised the viewers some great action and exciting visual effects in the movie.
"Terminator 5" is slated to be released on July 1, 2015. Some of the cast members in the movie include Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the iconic robot and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. Some of the other cast members with undisclosed roles include J.K. Simmons, Byung-hun Lee and Matt Smith.
