The popular upcoming movie "Terminator" 5 starring Arnold Schwarzenegger may be going in for an altered name. According to new reports, the title of the movie may be dropping the word "Genesis." The altered title may not have any other subtitles describing the movie.

Quoting multiple sources Bleedingcool reported that the upcoming movie will only be called "Terminator." The report is based on the information received on licensing, merchandise and toys from the franchise.

Readers may need to treat the report with some caution. Merchandising and toys may not necessarily carry the subtitle of the movie as they are aimed at promoting the franchise and not just the movie in question. "Terminator" 5 may yet come with a subtitle.

There is still no word about the plot of the movie by the producers. Fans expect the movie to explore more of the origin story in the upcoming movie. Arnold reportedly confirmed that there will be a younger T-800 "Terminator" and also an older version of the robot. It is still unclear how the producers are going to achieve this.

Previous "Terminator" movies have reportedly relied upon computer graphics to show a younger Arnold. The producers also have the option of using someone who looks like Arnold in the upcoming movie as a body double.

One of the main themes of the movie has been time travel. The concept allows the writers to modify the script and not be bound by what has happened so far in the previous movies. The main objective in the movie has always been to stop the self aware artificial intelligence Skynet and win the war against the machines.

The cast of the movie includes Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke as John Connor and Courtney B. Vance as Myles Dyson. The other cast in the movie with unconfirmed roles include Matt Smith and J.K. Simmons.

"Terminator" 5 is slated for a late June or early July 2015 release date. The release date in Australia has still not been confirmed. The movie is reportedly being filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana and San Francisco, California.
