‘Terminator: Genisys’ Game For Mobile Devices In Development -- Report
A new game about "Terminator: Genisys" is reportedly in development along with other games from the franchise. The new game about the upcoming movie is said to be available only on mobile devices and may not be available on consoles and PC.
The upcoming movie "Terminator: Genisys" may have reignited the interest among fans in the games from the franchise. According to a report by TerminatorFans, GLU Mobile is developing a game based on the movie. The company is reportedly located in San Francisco, which is also where many of the scenes of the upcoming movie were filmed.
The report does not reveal more details about the game but hopes that gamers will be allowed to play the character of Arnold Schwarzenegger. The game will reportedly be released around the release date of "Terminator: Genisys."
Some of the other games developed by GLU are "Contract Killer: Sniper," "Hercules: The Official Game," "RoboCop" and "Frontline Commando 2." The official website of the company does not specify that a game about "Terminator: Genisys" is currently in development. IBT has contacted the company to confirm the report and get more details.
"Terminator: Genisys" will be revisiting the storyline in the first two movies from the franchise. The events in the new movie will alter the course of history in the movies. Kyle Reese, a soldier who travels back in time, will get to meet a totally different Sarah Connor. The new Sarah Connor, played by Emilia Clarke, is seen working with a veteran T-800 cyborg played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Another game developing company, Mogol games, is reportedly developing a game based on the original two "Terminator" movies. The game is said to be available on both mobile devices as well as PC. The release date of the new game has not been revealed in the report.
Reef Entertainment is also reportedly working on a game based on the original two movies from the franchise. More information about the game is expected to be released later this year. Fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting for the release of "Terminator: Genisys." The producers released the first official trailer of the movie about a month ago.
