‘Terminator: Genisys’ Leaked Picture Shows Damaged Police Cruiser, Hints At Plot Elements [Spoilers]
A new set of images leaked from the sets of "Terminator: Genisys" shows a damaged police cruiser and hints at some of the plot elements in the movie. The filming for the movie has been completed and is currently in the post-production phase. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]
The leaked images show a San Francisco police cruiser, suggesting that the plot of the movie will be based in the present time. The images were leaked on TheTerminatorFans. According to the report, the damage to the car may have been done by a T-1000 robot in the movie.
Readers who have watched the movies from the franchise will remember that a T-1000 robot has the ability to change shape and copy the looks of anyone it comes in contact with. The role was previously played by Robert Patrick in the movie "Terminator 2: Judgment Day."
"Terminator: Genisys" will be featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800 robot. There has been no confirmation by the producers yet about a T-1000 robot featuring in the movie. But readers should also note that the T-1000 in the previous movie had assumed the identity of a police officer and taken possession of a police car.
Although the movie may have scenes from the present day, the plot of the movie will reportedly focus more on the time periods of the first two "Terminator" movies. According to a Huffingtonpost interview with Jai Courtney, the movie starts from the time period of the first two movies and then changes the course of events that have taken place in the previous movies.
The official plot details of the movie have still not been made available. The movie is slated for release on June 25, 2015 in New Zealand, July 1 in the U.S and on July 3 in the UK. The movie will mark the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger in his iconic role after a decade.
Some of the cast members of "Terminator: Genisys" includes Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connors, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Courtney B. Vance as Miles Dyson and Kerry O'Malley as Kyle's mother.
