The plot of "Terminator: Genisys" and two posters of the movie have been revealed in a new report. The movie will be taking the audience back to the first two movies directed by James Cameron, but there will be a twist. [Spoiler Alert]

"Terminator: Genisys" will reportedly begin in the year 2029. The plot of the movie has been shared with Entertainment Weekly by the producers. According to the report, the movie begins with John Connor sending Kyle Reese back in time to save his mother. This follows the same beginning as in the 1984 movie.

The main twist in the upcoming movie is that Kyle Reese will find that Connor's mother, Sarah, is being raised by an older T-800 cyborg played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The 1984 movie had shown the T-800 as being sent by the artificial intelligence Skynet to kill Sarah Connor.

"Terminator: Genisys" will reportedly focus on Sarah Connor's attempt at changing her destiny. If allowed to run its course, it will mean most of humanity will get wiped out in a nuclear war masterminded by Skynet.

Sarah Connor, having been raised by the T-800 will reportedly lack a basic grounding in human emotions but is said to be good with a sniper rifle. A poster of the movie features her riding a bike with Kyle Reese seen sitting behind her.

According to the report, Sarah Connor will be orphaned by a "Terminator" at the age of nine. Her determination to change the course of history will reportedly change the direction of the movie from what had happened in the 1984 movie.

The report points to the time travel element as being a major factor in "Terminator: Genisys," pointing out the lackluster performance of the movie "Terminator: Salvation" that did not feature any time travel. The 2009 movie performed well at the box office but had failed to reach the revenues generated by the previous movies from the franchise, including the 1984 movie.

Will "Terminator: Genisys" succeed in breaking box office records? Some of the cast members in the movie include Emilia Clarke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Matt Smith, J.K. Simmons, Douglas Smith, Byung-hun Lee, Sandrine Holt, Jason Clarke and Jai Courtney.
