The producers of "Terminator: Genisys" have released the first teaser trailer of the movie. The trailer does not reveal much but got the fans excited, especially because the video comes with the caption, "He is back." [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

The first teaser trailer video was posted on the official Facebook account of the movie. The video shows the head of the T-800 robot with a black background. The metallic endoskeleton slowly starts to break and turns into a powder that accumulates at the bottom of the screen.

The robotic skull has the typical red gleaming eyes. One of the eyes stops to function after some time because of the breakage. The head slowly turning into powder is very similar to an hourglass. This may be an indication about how the robot would have weathered over time in "Terminator: Genisys."

Readers should note that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back playing his iconic role after over a decade in the upcoming movie. The actor will be playing an older T-800 in the movie. "Terminator: Genisys" will be revisiting the main plot of the first two movies from the franchise. The soundtrack in the teaser trailer is also from the original movies.

The role of Sarah Connor will be played by Emilia Clarke in "Terminator: Genisys." According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, Sarah will be raised by a T-800 in the movie, and her decision to change her fate and that of the rest of humanity will be the main thrust of the upcoming movie.

Unlike the 2009 movie "Terminator Salvation," the upcoming movie will reportedly feature time travel. The self-aware artificial intelligence and the main villain in the movie, Skynet, will have a new plan to kill the leader of the human resistance John Connor.

Just like the first movie from the franchise, viewers will find that John Connor will send his loyal soldier Kyle Reese, played by Jai Courtney, into the past to protect his younger self and his mother from Skynet's attacks. But what Kyle sees in the past is very different from what fans have seen in the original movie.
