Tessanne Chin: 'The Voice' Season 5 Winner Returns to 'The Voice' Season 6 Stage to Perform Debut Single
Jamaican singer Tessanne Chin's journey to success began in "The Voice" Season 5 where she was declared winner of NBC's reality TV singing competition last December 2013. The 28-year-old recording artist has returned to "The Voice" Season 6 stage to perform her debut single titled "Everything Reminds Me of You."
NBC announced that Tessanne Chin, team member of Coach Adam Levine, will make a special performance to cap off the show's semi-finals week. Chin has been expressing excitement for her "The Voice" performance through her Facebook page and Twitter account @Tessanne.
Tessanne Chin shared on her Facebook page that she was happy to see one of her favorite people and it is none other than her coach. The singer may be successful now but she revealed on her post that Adam Levine is still coaching her. According to the Jamaica Observer report, Tessanne Chin has been busy making appearances in St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Canada as well as Jamaica after winning on "The Voice" Season 5. Another remarkable performance of Tessanne Chin noted in the report was at the White House last March together with Patti LaBelle, Janelle Monae and Melissa Etheridge as part of US First Lady Michelle Obama's line-up for the "Women of Soul: In Performance."
Aside from Tessanne Chin, "The Voice" Season 5 runners up Will Champlin and Jacquie Lee also returned to "The Voice" stage on Tuesday, May 13, for impressive performances. Jacquie Lee, a member of Team Christina in Season 5, performed "Broken Ones" while Will Champlin, another member of Team Adam, performed the single titled "Eye of the Pyramid."
"The Voice" Season 6 finale is scheduled to air on Tuesday night, May 20, on NBC where Jake Worthington from Team Blake, Josh Kaufman from Team Usher and Christina Grimmie from Team Adam will be competing for the winning title.
