Heartwarming photos of a toddler and an adopted puppy have gone viral on Instagram. Beau a 23 month old boy and Theo his family's adopted puppy are a famous duo as they are getting massive attention from millions of people after their mother posted some adorable pictures of them.

Their mother Jessica Shyba recently started posting their photos of sleeping snuggled together from a now famous account on Instagram @mommasgonecity. And to her surprise the cute photos that she was posting became the buzz on the social media network as the napping photos melted millions of heart on the Internet.

Only three days after the family brought their adopted puppy home, the mother started witnessing the magical moments where the two new friends would nap together too cutely to resist oneself from capturing the moments forever.

Theo is a mix breed dog as he is a part boxer, part shepherd and part Labrador retriever. He was brought from a Santa Cruz animal shelter where he lived with its 10 siblings.

In her blog, Jessica tells about the long process that her family had to go finally before they could find and adopt their puppy. Jessica Shyba explained that during the initial days of the dog with their family it was quite challenging to train the dog and keep him in the kennel. After trying it for the long time they decided to let it roam about free and that's when it all happened. She explained that the puppy would cry all the time until he found a companion in Beau.

"Theo fell asleep on Beau and I as I rocked him down for his afternoon nap. I was practically howling at the cuteness - and nearly woke them both up.

"The following day, Theo met us up in my room for the nap time ritual, and so began what I can only describe as the most organic and beautiful friendship I have ever witnessed," wrote Jessica Shyba, mother of Beau the child featured in the now viral photos on Instagram.

"Each day, Theo meets us at naptime and waits patiently for Beau to fall asleep. By that time, he's also sleepy, so when I hoist him onto our bed, he stumbles over to Beau and plops right down on top of him. And there they sleep, entwined, for at least two hours. At this point, I began to hashtag these photos on Instagram as #TheoandBeau, and have successfully enveloped the hearts of many," continued Jessica Shyba on her blog www.moomasgonecity.com.

Each day, Jessica Shyba started posting photos of their naptime and she now has some 117,942 followers on her Instagram account.
