Wedding bells might be ringing again in the near future for Britney Spears, this time to long-time boyfriend Jason Trawick.

After several false alarms due to Spears' penchant for wearing diamond rings on her left ring finger, a close family friend reveals the superstar might finally be engaged very soon.

Spears' boyfriend, who incidentally is her former agent, is consistently by her side during her ongoing Femme Fatale tour.

"Jason is planning on taking Britney on a secluded getaway once the tour wraps, and it's very likely he will pop the question at that time," the insider tells Radar Online in an exclusive interview.

The world tour will run until December 10 in Puerto Rico.

"Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time. Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very, very long time," the source reveals.

The pair is clearly enamored with each other, and reports say Trawick also dotes on the sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Even the rest of the Spears family is charmed by the 39-year-old manager.

A pal says Spears are "looking forward to the day that Jason will formally be a member of the family."

"Britney's mom and Jason are very close," the insider adds.

However, since Spears is under her father's conservatorship, the pair has to consult a judge before getting married.

"When Britney does get engaged, her father's attorneys will notify the judge in her conservatorship case. It's extremely within the realm of possibility that the conservatorship will end, and then Britney will get married. It will be a very smooth transition," the source assures.

If her wedding with Trawick pushes through, it will be Spears' third nuptials. In 2004, the diva married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas.

"We were just looking at each other and said, 'Let's do something wild, crazy. Let's go get married, just for the hell of it,'" Alexander tells Access Hollywood.

The duo famously got annulled just 55 hours after tying the knot.

Just months after her shotgun Vegas wedding, Spears married Kevin Federline. The volatile pair had two children before divorcing in 2006.

In her documentary "For The Record", Spears admits she made a mistake marrying Federline.

"I think I married for the wrong reasons. Instead of following my hear and doing something that made me really happy, I just did it for the idea of everything," Spears reveals in a heartfelt confession.
