In 'My Kitchen Rules' last night, one of the most controversial teams, Thomas and Carla, was eliminated. The Victorian team experienced a huge kitchen disaster after a cook-off against Megan and Andy.

They were challenged to cook Moreton Bay bugs as ingredients along with mangoes and macadamia nuts right in North Queensland. Andy and Megan got a score of 41 while Thomas and Carla only had 32.

Things started falling apart when their main course became a messed up plan in the pan. According to Thomas, they were suddenly taken out of their comfort zones when they were sent to Queensland. Megan and Andy, on the other hand, prepared some prawns with the mango salsa on the side while they included the bugs and nuts in their pasta dish.

Many believed that team Carla and Thomas got a bad impression from viewers after a strategic voting during the instant restaurant phase of the show just to keep themselves from leaving. It was not a good decision to make kofta as their main dish with the bugs after their recipe did not impress the chef hosts of the show when they presented it for the first time.

Thomas and Carla came from Melbourne and their team was the fourth to be eliminated in the series. Thomas works as a podiatrist while Carla is a professional speech therapist.

On the next episode of 'MKR,' there will still be eight teams who are to prepare a gigantic seafood banquet that is fit for a royal festivity. You can catch 'My Kitchen Rules' every Sunday to Thursday at 730pm on channel Seven.
