'Thor: The Dark World' LA Premiere Scene Stealer: Jaimie Alexander Leaving Little to the Imagination with Risqué Gown, Teases About Being the Next Wonder Woman [PHOTOS]
Scene stealer Jaimie Alexander, the actress who played Sif in the film "Thor: The Dark World," attended the Los Angeles (LA) Premiere of the movie with the cast including lead star Chris Hemsworth. But, she stole the show from everyone when she showed up wearing a risqué gown that leaves little to the imagination.
Clad in a black Azzaro Couture dress with sheer mesh panels down the front and back, exposing her toned body, Jaimie sashayed down the red carpet oozing with confidence.
The jaw-dropping style of the gown obviously didn't require underwear to be worn. But, Jaimie took it all in stride, as she smiled and posed for the cameras clicking away.
It looks like Jaimie wanted to make a splash and have a grand entrance. She certainly achieved that by wearing that revealing dress and looking beautiful from head to foot.
The 29-year-old stunner got tongues wagging because of the said dress. Gwyneth Paltrow previously wore a similar dress in the "Iron Man 3" premiere in April 2013. However, Paltrow got a lot of flak for wearing that gown by Antonio Berardi. It was less revealing than what Jaimie wore.
"I kind of had a disaster. I was doing a show and I changed there and I couldn't wear underwear," Paltrow said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
"Well, let's just say everyone went scrambling for a razor," she added.
Even if the black Azzaro Couture dress is racy, Jaimie managed to carry it with aplomb. She looks unmindful of the stir she has caused and all the stares from the people at the premiere.
Actually, once you get over how revealing the dress is, you will notice that it is quite stylish compared to the one Paltrow wore.
Jaimie told E! News that her physique isn't the result of intense work-outs at the gym with a personal trainer.
"I don't work out that much," she said to E! News.
"People hate me," she added.
Jaimie is currently dating "Twilight" vampire Peter Facinelli. Her portrayal of Sif in the "Thor" films has drawn comparisons to another comic book character - Wonder Woman. She was quick to dispel the rumours about already being cast for the role, but she didn't deny the possibility of it happening.
"I would love for DC to put Wonder Woman in one of their upcoming flicks, either in her own movie or "Batman vs. Superman" or just something even to introduce her," Alexander said in a Forbes report.
"Being in the comic book world, we know a lot of the same people at DC and Marvel, so we hear a lot of things, but it's all speculation right now. But I would absolutely love that [Wonder Woman appearing in one of the upcoming films]. Thankfully and gratefully, I'm appreciative to the people who ask my opinion of the character, and that's been pretty amazing."
Aside from Jaimie and Hemsworth, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins and Tom Hiddleston also attended the premiere. Unfortunately, leading lady Natalie Portman was nowhere to be found.
"The Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth showed up at the premiere to support his brother Chris.
"Thor: The Dark World" will be shown in U.S. theatres on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013. It has been shown in some parts of the world already, including Australia and it even debuted at the number one spot in several box office charts.
