You may have to wait for another year before "Thor: The Dark World," which will see Chris Hemsworth reprise the titular role, hit the theaters on 2013. But you only have to wait until November to catch up with the god of thunder and his new adventures with "THOR: God of Thunder".

The new issues, written by Jason Aaron, will see Thor pursuing the mysterious "God Butcher" who is murdering the gods of the Marvel Universe. Inked by Esad Ribic, Thor will find himself time travelling as he tries to stop this destructive force in his own time, but also in the past and the future. Fans of the Marvel comic are in for a treat as the Mighty Avenger allies himself with his younger and older self to save the world once again.

Meanwhile, avid followers of Tony Stark, brilliantly played by Robert Downey Jr in the movies, and his superhero alter-ego Iron Man won't have to wait until 2013 to catch up with his adventures.

A new issue will find the hero in the face of threat from a techno virus, Extremis. He must prevent it from landing in the highest bidder. His quest leads him to the island of New Camelot where The Circle, a mysterious brotherhood of mech-knights, awaits him.Is Stark ready to battle it out against these high-tech mech-knights? Find out when the new issue written by Kieron Gillen and drawn by Greg Land hits the stores later this year!
