Australian actor Chris Hemsworth appears to be reunited with his love-interest Natalie Portman in the sequel of thunderous Thor film. A set of new stills for the second installment of Thor franchise was released, which teases Hemsworth and Natalie as they were captured having a laugh, looking at each other in one of the sequences of the soon-to-be released film. Will Thor sequel hammer the box office as it did in the first installment?

Remember the ending of the first series of Thor franchise? After a total destruction of the Asgard world, Thor, played by Hemsworth, and his fellow warriors were trapped in their world and the great warrior Thor was shot looking at his love, Jane Foster, the character played by Natalie Portman, who was then finding her ways, non-stop and willfully, to get him a way out to be back on earth.

Thor was an arrogant warrior who was cast out of the fantastic realm of Asgard world and thrown out to the Earth to live among the humans. He lived among humans, alright, and even fell in love with one of them. A series of jampacked actions sequences on earth invaded by Thor’s nemesis from Asgard, ended in Thor coming back to his world, leaving Jane on earth.

The set of new stills show however, that Jane is reunited with his scientist-girlfriend. And it looks like Jane dropped her telescopes and decided to diss her favourite jeans for a very-Asgard-looking dresses. Jane is wearing a costume worn by women in the Asgard world in the set of new stills for Thor: The Dark World.

Does this mean Jane is staying for good in Asgard in the sequel? Did she go there for a visit? Or Will she stay there for good?

The wait for the second installment of hammering Thor is a long way as the action-adventure, fantasy film is set to be released in U.S. theaters on November 18, 2013. Directed by Alan Taylor, joining Hemsworth and Portman in the film are Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Rene Russo and more. Check out the film’s full synopsis and list of full cast here.
