Tiger Woods’ Former Luxury Island Up For Grabs
One of Tiger Woods' luxurious properties is for sale. The 62-acre island set in Lake Malaren in Sweden, which used to be the home of the 14-time major title winner and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren for 6 years is up for grabs.
Laid out in the vast island are six tee-off areas, a secluded villa, a hunting lodge, and what do you think is the mode of transportation of people living in such a luxurious island but a landing strip for their propeller planes. Not to mention that the tee-off areas boast off custom-made golf holes.
Added to the island's already boastful features are protected quay, a hill fort, two small Skinnpalsarna islands, private ferry boats, and a pasture land for horses. The Skinnpalsarna islands were reported to have a 500-acre water area.
According to the lister of the island, Sabine Rollinger of Vladi Private Islands, while the island is also a home to many beautiful memories shared by Tiger Woods and his ex-wife for 6 marital years, however, the island's importance as well as the importance of its existence ceased when Tiger Woods and his former wife got divorced.
"This island was owned by Tiger Woods but after his divorce he doesn't need an island in Sweden any more," Rollinger said according to Inquisitr. Rollinger further reinforced the property description by saying that apart from the total exclusivity the island offers, it is also a home to untouched woods, open fields, a beautiful lush park, striking lake views, and the main residence, the mini-mansion.
The island is also a good property for private fishing trips and boat rides as you get the chance to see Malaren's over 1,000 islands, which is the best island to view Stockholm's beautiful archipelago.
As far as the island's landscape is concerned, it boasts an 11th-century Viking stronghold, and a home to great wildlife. You will find deers, hares, and beavers in the island, and on rare occasion, you'll also see elks. The island's vast dimensions made it an ideal place to host both indoor and outdoor parties. The property's price according to The Los Angeles Times is 7.1 million US dollars.
