Will the mania around Tim Tebow continue despite a change of address? This week Tebow was traded to The New York Jets, overcoming a disagreement over a detail in the contract where the Jets was required to repay the $5 million advanced by the Denver Broncos to the quarterback.

"Tebow-mania just got a New Jersey address," the Jets proclaimed on their Web site. But this was before the team discovered a provision on the contract obliging them to pay the advanced fees to the Broncos. The dispute over the provision almost lead to the scrapping of the deal.

But that is all in the past now. According to NFL.com, the Jets had agreed to pay half of the $5000 advanced money given to Tebow. Football fans could expect the Tebow trade to further boost the game of the Jets, which finished with an 8-8 record last season, replicating the phenomenal six-week winning streak that helped the Broncos finished with an 8-8 record from a 1-4 start.

Tebow sparked a mania, not only for his successful play on the field, but also due to his frequent display of religious devotion. His kneeling form while praying out in the field has even inspired an Internet meme called "Tebowing" with adoring fans striking the pose and posting their photos on social media Web sites such as Facebook and Tumblr.
