Title of Newest Bond Movie Revealed
Movie Studio Register Domain Names in Advance of Release
The title for Daniel Craig's third outing as James Bond has been revealed after producers of the film registered domain names in advance. It appears that the latest Bond movie will be titled "Skyfall" after the domains 'JamesBond-Skyfall.com' and 'Skyfallthefilm.com' were registered by MGM and Sony Pictures, who are financing the production.
The film is set for an Oct. 26, 2012 release date in the UK and filming is yet to begin. The 23rd film in the franchise is being directed by Oscar-winner Sam Mendes who has been at the helm for films such as "Road to Perdition", "Revolutionary Road" and "American Beauty". Actress Dame Judi Dench will also be returning to play the role of "M".
The title "Skyfall" is not taken from a James Bond novel and is the first original Bond title since 2002's "Die Another Day".
