‘Tom Clancy’s The Division’ gets bundled with GeForce cards, dev hints at surprises coming including eye-tracking tech
The open beta for Ubisoft’s “The Division” is already available for preload on all platforms, the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Before all the action starts on Feb. 19 to 21 (one day earlier, for Xbox One players), the developer has revealed a few more details about the game for players going into the open beta.
With the right tools and devices, players can have an immersive experience playing “The Division.” It is one of the games where Tobii’s eye-tracking technology will debut in. Speaking with Venture Beat, Tobii Tech’s president Oscar Werner said that different commands to use the eye-tracking technology can be used at launch.

One of these is the enemy tagging, which enables players to target an enemy just by looking at the screen. In essence, this eliminates the lag time between seeing a target and having to act on it using a controller. This also makes multiplayer play even more fluid, especially since “The Division” does not feature any voice chat.
Other interesting things that players can do in “Tom Clancy’s The Division” with Tobii’s eye-tracking technology include aiming at a target with just a gaze or tossing a grenade wherever the player is looking. Additionally, even with the many commands, the players will not be cluttered with too many interface elements, as one look to the side will bring out all the elements needed, such as ammo, health and more.
For those who are planning to play “Tom Clancy’s The Division” on the PC, NVIDIA is offering a new bundle of GeForce cards that already include a copy of the game. Neowin reported that the promotion is in partnership with Ubisoft for its upcoming epidemic-ridden shooter title.
Purchasing a desktop GeFroce GTX 970, GTX 980 or GTX 980 Ti graphics card or a notebook GTX 970M or GTX 980M will include a free download key to the game. NVIDIA has not yet released an official announcement for this, but the source stated that the promo may come in as early as the start of the open beta for “The Division.”
It’s possible that this will be the next offer following the “Rise of the Tomb Raider” promotion. As of writing, there are no concrete details on the price and regional availability of the GeForce cards package. “The Division” will be out on March 8.
