Recently, Tom Daley took to youtube to express his feelings to his fans saying that he is 'happy' to be in a relationship with another man. The 19-year old tweeted his video to almost 2.4 million followers saying that he is still the same "Tom" that they all know and is just delighted to share it with his fans.

In the emotion packed youtube video, the diver had quite a lot to say:

"Come spring this year, my life changed massively when I met someone and it made me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great. And that someone is a guy. It was always in the back of my head that something like that could happen, but it wasn't until spring this year that something just clicked ... My whole world just changed, right there and then."

He doesn't really label who he is as 'gay' or refrains from using the term 'bisexual' but he does explain that he still likes girls by saying:

"Of course I still fancy girls, But I mean, right now I'm dating a guy and I couldn't be happier. It makes me feel safe and just really does feel right. I'm still Tom. I still want to win an Olympic gold medal at Rio 2016 for Great Britain. I'm still as motivated as ever to do that."

Daley's sexuality has always been the content of media speculation. In an interview with Attitude magazine, the diver answered the rumors on his sexuality saying:

"I think it's funny when people say I'm gay... I laugh it off... I'm not, But even if I was, I wouldn't be ashamed. It wouldn't bother me in the slightest what people thought."

He does appreciate all his fans especially those who have come out as 'gay' and are fans of his by saying:

"It's great to have gay fans even though my friends gently take the mick."

It is a good thing that he can breathe freely as who he is and people would love him all the more.
