Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton: Ultimate Vampire Couple in New Movie
There is ultimately nothing better than Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton as vampires, better yet the two not only play creatures of the dead, but they are a couple in the movie.
Their new movie together, "Only Lovers Left Alive," directed by Jim Jarmusch, is about a vampire couple who have perfected their love for music and have been able to take things slowly at a time knowing that they have all eternity to do what they want. The best part is that they are a married, vampire couple.
Tom Hiddleston plays the role of Adam, a reclusive musician who has given up on hope that humans will become better and get better taste in music. He refers to the human race as "zombies." The best thing about the movie is that it shows society through the eyes of those who have seen perfection before. The movie tackles the various forms of art that these vampires have been able to intake and for many this would be the ultimate "hipster," movie.
Tilda Swinton plays the role of "Eve," wife of Adam who helps Adam after they talk and she finds out that Adam has been having thoughts of killing himself. After centuries of not knowing what was happening to music and being reclusive, she decides to visit her husband in Detroit and they start having a good time again with each other until Eve's sister, Ava shows up and kills Adam's friend, Ian.
"Only Lovers Left Alive," is an indie films that dwells on the arts and on comedy, the best thing to happen showing Swinton and Hiddleston together in a movie that will surely put most romantic vampire movies to shame.
