According to Billboard and Nielsen, SoundScan and Nielsen BDS tracked and compiled the Top 10 songs listed above. The ranks of the songs were based on its online streaming activity and sales data.

"All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor and "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift both stood firm in their previous spots from the week of Oct. 11, 2014.

On the other hand, "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glynne has been bumped off the Top 10 singles in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It's currently on the Top 11 spot.

Meanwhile, newcomer "Animals" by Maroon 5 made a huge leap from its Top 33 spot to its current spot at number 8. And, "Habits" (Stay High) by Tove Lo is slowly but surely inching its way to the top.
