According to Billboard, Nielsen SoundScan compiled the aforementioned data of the songs in the Billboard Hot 100 based on its sales. Nielsen BDS tracked the songs' streaming activity data from various sources of online music.

"All About That Bass," by Meghan Trainor, "Shake It Off," by Taylor Swift, "Stay With Me" by Sam Smith and "Break Free" by Ariana Grande featuring Zedd have retained their previous spots from the week of Sept. 27, 2014.

On the other hand, "Maps" by Maroon 5 (Sept. 27, 2014 week position: Top 8) and "Rude" by Magic! (Sept. 27, 2014 week position: Top 9) have been bumped off the Top 10 singles in the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Meanwhile, "Chandelier" by Sia is back on the chart. Newcomer "Don't Tell 'Em" by Jeremih featuring YG previously held the Top 12 spot in the week of Sept. 27, 2014 and now, it's on the Top 10 spot.
