Those of you who want to participate in the whole Halloween celebration don't have to wear elaborate costumes for it. All you need is makeup and some brushes. With these beauty tools, you can create stunning looks that are cool, pretty and still scary. Below is a list of the Top 3 Halloween 2014 makeup looks to try including Maleficent, Black Swan and Theodora in "Oz The Great and Powerful."
1. Maleficent - This is a popular look for Halloween, thanks in part to Angelina Jolie. You can opt to recreate Jolie's look using white face paint, black eyeliner, red lips, black mascara and some contouring powder to achieve her high cheekbones. Plus, add some black horns and wings to complete your costume. You can also try setting yourself apart from the rest of the Maleficent wannabes out there by doing the Maleficent makeup version from Disney's 1959 film "Sleeping Beauty." It involves using glue stick on eyebrows to make it disappear and applying some chartreuse makeup paint on your face. 2. Black Swan - Blogger Sharon Chen demonstrated how easy it is to achieve this look that was made popular by Natalie Portman. This look concentrates on the eye area and uses lots of black and silver eyeliner, white base makeup and dark red lipstick. 3. Theodora in "Oz The Great and Powerful" - The easiest look to try among the others in this list. According to Make-up artist Tracey Levy, who worked with Mila Kunis in the "Oz The Great and Powerful," she wanted to create a look that depicted the character's innocence, as well as add some layer of mystery to her. She decided to add some red lipstick to the look to represent Theodora's inner fire. In the film, Theodora will transform into the Wicked Witch of the West. But, no need to wear green makeup just yet. Just use some key products such as foundation to even out your skin, a bold red lip, some false eye lashes, eyeliner and a big red hat. Levy reportedly mixed Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk UV Foundation in Sand and Tawny for Mila's foundation. She also used Nars Cosmetics Lip Liner Pencil in Amazon and topped it with M.A.C. Lipstick in Dubonnet. Click HERE to visit makeup411 and see all of the makeup that Levy used for Theodora's look. You can also use the Urban Decay Theodora Palette to make things easier.
