New York Times reports that for the week of Feb. 8, 2015, “The Girl On The Train” by Paula Hawkins is still on the top spot. Meanwhile, “Fifty Shades Of Grey” by E. L. James climbed on the fifth spot. It was on the seventh spot for the week of Feb. 1, 2015. Burned” by Karen Marie Moning is a newcomer on the NY Times Best Sellers list. As for “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn, it is now on its 113th week of being in the New York Times Best Sellers list of combined print and e-book fiction.

1. “The Girl On The Train” by Paula Hawkins (Riverhead) – This book is a psychological thriller about a girl named Rachel who lives in London and rides the train daily. She witnesses something shocking in one of her train rides that will change her life forever. Previous position (Feb. 1, 2015 week): Top 1

2. “All The Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr (Scribner) – This is about Werner, who lives in Germany and Marie Laure from France. They meet up as adults during World War II. Previous position (Feb. 1, 2015 week): Top 4

3. “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn (Crown) – This novel has been a mainstay on the New York Times Bestsellers list. It tells the story of Amy and Nick Dunne. Amy mysteriously disappears and Nick is one of the suspects. Previous position (Feb. 1, 2015 week): Top 3

4. Burned” by Karen Marie Moning (Delacorte) – This is the seventh installment of the “Fever” series. This book is about a character named MacKayla Lane who is a sidhe-seer. She battles the forces of darkness and is not affected by Fae glamour.

5. “Fifty Shades Of Grey” by E. L. James (Vintage) – The popular erotic romance is about Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey’s relationship. It features controversial sexual themes including bondage/discipline, dominance/submission and sadism/masochism (BDSM). This book has been made into a movie starring Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. It will be released in U.S. theatres on Feb. 13, 2015.
