Top 5 Movies at the Box Office and Upcoming Movies to Watch for

"Divergent" has raced to the top spot at the weekend box office, followed by "Muppets Most Wanted." "Mr. Peabody & Sherman" has slid to the third position followed by "300: Rise of an Empire" and "God's Not Dead." These are the hottest films in March 2014.

"Divergent" opened with a strong showing the box office collecting over $56 million. The movie is based in an imaginary world which is divided into factions based on virtues. Tris is not able to fit into the system and is considered to be a "Divergent" she has to find out what makes her so dangerous that people want to destroy her and others like her.

"Muppets Most Wanted" made a total collection of over $16 million at the box office in the opening weekend. The plot of the movie revolves around a Jewel heist in Europe by a Kermit the frog lookalike and his side kick.

The two new movies have replaced "Mr. Peadbody & Sherman" and "300: Rise of an Empire," both of which are in their third week. "Mr. Peabody & Sherman" has a total box office collection of over $183 million worldwide and "300:Rise of an Empire" has a total collection of over $289 worldwide.

"God's Not Dead" opened with over $8.5 million collection at the box office. The upcoming movies hitting the theaters next week include "Noah," "Sabotage," "The Raid 2," "Cesar Chavez" and "Breathe In."

"Noah" is based on the mythical story of God flooding the world to destroy life on Earth due to the wickedness on mankind. The cast of the movie includes Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Nick Nolte.

"Sabotage" is the story of a DEA team that takes on a powerful drug cartel. The movie stars Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Sam Worthington, Terrance Howard, Dawn Olivieri, Joe Manganiello and Olivia Williams.

"The Raid 2" follows the protagonist Rama, as he infiltrates a Jakarta crime syndicate to learn about the corruption in the police force and also protect his family. The cast of the movie includes Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian, Donny Alamsyah and Tio Pakusodewo.

"Cesar Chavez" is about civil rights leader who uses non violent methods to fight for justice for farm workers. The movie stars Michael Pena, Rosario Dawson, America Ferrera, Jacob Vargas, Gabriel Mann and Wes Bentley.

"Breathe In" is the story of a foreign exchange student who comes to a small upstate New York town and the effect she has on the family she lives with. The cast of the movie includes Guy Pearce, Amy Ryan, Felicity Jones, Mackenzie Davis, Matthew Daddario and Elise Eberie.

Will one of the upcoming 2014 movies be able to replace "Divergent" at the box office to emerge as the top movie next week? "Noah" may be the top contender for that position.
