The major television networks in the United States have joined efforts with the stars to promote their upcoming shows at the semi-annual Television Critics Association or (TCA).

This year’s TCA Summer Press Tour 2011 began last week but more activities are line-up this week.

The 12-day press tour began July 27 last week and is expected to end on August 8. One of the main events of the summer press tour is the TCA awards slated on August 6 Saturday, said OnLocationVacations.

The TCA summer tour has always served as a venue for network honchos to make announcements about their line-up for the season and a chance for them to convince the TV critics that their respective programs are worth the time of veteran entertainment journalists to write about.
