The legendary Marshall Bruce Mathers III, or better known as “Eminem,” has always caught the attention of his fans and bashers whenever he releases a new single. Majority of the reason for this is that his lyrics tend to go overboard in terms of explicit contents.

Since Eminem’s debut way back in 1992, fans have been flocking over every song and record this rapping tycoon has ever made. But it does not exclude the fact that most of his songs have a very dark and disturbing theme revolving around them. Here is a list of the top five most disturbing lines, verses or song from Eminem’s wide array of musical creation.

1) 'I’m Back' from his album the 'Marshall Mathers LP'

First is the single “I’m Back” from his album entitled The “Marshall Mathers LP.” The song mostly tackled his rise to stardom and the road he took while he was at the top of his game. At the same time, the song tells on how the rapper tends to deal with bullies both in a fictional way and what he did in his real life scenario. He also stated several artists and made foul and disturbing comments about them, particularly Jennifer Lopez.

2) 'Kim' from the same album

The second song in the list for the most disturbing lyrics is “Kim” which is also found on the album the “Marshall Mathers LP.” The song basically tells Eminem’s marital issues and how he would imagine ending his relationship with his wife. The way how the rapper described his fantasy ordeal with his wife, Kim, deals with a lot of physical, emotional and mental abuse, which consequently led to homicide. The only upside of this song is how Mathers, despite his issues with his wife, he loves his daughter Hailie very dearly.

3) 'Insane' from the 'Relapse' album

Next on the list of disturbing songs “Eminem” ever made is “Insane” from the album “Relapse,” released way back in 2009. The whole song is about a boy being sexually abused by his own father. To top it off, his mother treats him as badly (physically, mentally and emotionally) as his father. In the end, the boy finally decided to commit suicide.

4) ''97 Bonnie and Clyde' from the album 'The Slim Shady LP'

The fourth song that is included in this list is “'97 Bonnie and Clyde” from the album the “Slim Shady LP.” The song is about Eminem (Clyde) and his daughter Hailie (Bonnie) disposing the lifeless body of Kim into the sea. The song transpires from how Eminem comforts the whining Hailie at the beginning of the song to finally make her help him get rid of Kim’s body. This song is a prequel of the previous song entitled “Kim.”

5) 'Stay Wide Awake' from the album 'Relapse'

The last and probably the most disturbing song that Eminem has ever written is “Stay Wide Awake.” The song is also from the 2009 album “Relapse.” The whole song describes sexual rape fantasies that Eminem has visualised. From stalking his prey to forcing himself towards her and finally end with several acts of mutilation on the victim’s body.

These are the top five songs by “Eminem” that are too disturbing to be ignored. All of the lyrics of these songs can be found on Genius.com.
