"Avengers: Age of Ultron"
The popular "Avengers" franchise will be back with a new movie in 2015. The movie will focus on how a dormant peacekeeping program goes wrong and results in the rise of a new villain called "Ultron." The new villain is an artificial intelligence program created by the character Tony Stark in the movie.
The trailer of the upcoming sci-fi movie shows how the artificial intelligence will envision a peaceful world. Ultron will go on a mission to eradicate human life from the face of the earth, which it sees as a source of all conflicts in the world.
"Terminator: Genisys"
The main plot of "Terminator: Genisys" is that of an artificial intelligence gaining consciousness and plotting a nuclear holocaust to wipe out the human race. The movie will revisit the plot of the first two movies from the franchise.
The main villain of all the movies from the franchise has always been the artificial intelligence called "Skynet." The veteran actor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be reprising his iconic role in the upcoming sci-fi movie after a gap of over a decade.
"Ex-Machina"
The plot of "Ex-Machina" revolves around a young programmer selected to evaluate the human characteristics of an artificial intelligence robot built by his employer. The main focus of the sci-fi movie is about how the robot wants to survive and in doing so appears more human. The movie also shows the robot flirting with the young programmer.
The movie is directed by Alex Garland. Some of the cast members in the movie are Oscar Isaac as Nathan, Domhnall Gleeson as Caleb and Alicia Vikander as Ava. The movie is slated to be released in March 2015 in Australia.
Movie #4: "Chappie"
"Chappie" is a story of a robot with artificial intelligence but is shown to be a child learning about the world around it with a sense of wonder. Some of the cast members of the sci-fi movie include Hugh Jackman, Dev Patel, Sigourney Weaver, Jose Pablo Cantillo and Sharlto Copley. The movie is slated to be released in March 2015 in Australia.
