Top Ten World's Sexiest Actors in Empire Magazine [PHOTOS]

Recently, the names of the world's "100 sexiest movie stars, 2013" were announced. The verdict was given by the Empire Magazine. The results were given out only as a result of the voting of around fifty thousand fans of 100 sexiest movie stars. Competing for the first place and top ranks were some fifty stars in each category of actors and actresses.

The "Harry Potter" series starlet, Emma Watson topped the roll of "The Sexiest Actresses of the World, 2013". While for the male counterpart, the adorning the crown is "Star Trek" actor Benedict Cumberbatch.

Here's the list of the "Top 10 Sexiest Actors of the World, 2013."

1. Benedict Cumberbatch

Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch, is a British television and film actor. He was an art scholar at his school, Harrow School and was interested in dramatics art. He is widely known for his roles like Stephen Hawking in the BBC show "Hawking" and Victor Frankenstein in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. His other noted works are "Sherlock" and "The Rattigan Enigma".

2. Tom Hiddleston

Thomas William "Tom" Hiddleston, another British actor who found top place in the list, got his shot to fame with his character Loki in the movie "Thor" in 2011 and its sequel 2012. He graduated from RADA in 2005 and felt he was made for acting since early days. He is coming back in "Thor: The Dark World."

3. Henry Cavill

Yet another actor of British decent ruling the charts is best known for his role of Clark Kent in "Man of Steel" in 2013. His career started with "Laguna" in 2001 and continued from there on with the likes, "The Count of Monte Cristo," "Stardust," "The Cold Light of the Day" and more.

4. Ryan Gosling

Ryan Thomas Gosling is a Canadian actor and began his career with Disney Channel as a child artist. He is also a musician, writer and director. Gosling received much deserved attention with the movie "The Notebook" in 2004. Besides his good looks he is also known for his works like "Drive," "Crazy, Stupid, Love" and "The Place Beyond Pines".

5. Robert Downey Jr

Robert John Downey, Jr. is an American actor who started his career at the age of 5 with the home production of his father called "Pound." From there on his career started and today he is recipient of many awards and nominations including Golden Globe Award. His most noted roles are "Iron Man" and its sequels, "Sherlock Holmes" , "The Avengers" and more.

6. Chris Hemsworth

He is an Australian actor who was born in Melbourne. He has two brothers, Luke and Liam and all of them are actors too. His career started with soap operas like "Home and Way" and "Kim Hyde." Subsequently he got roled and is best known for his movies "Thor" and "Snow White and the Huntsman."

7. Robert Pattinson

Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson is an English model, actor and a producer. He commenced his career with a small role in mega movie "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" as Cedrick Diggory. He grew up in Barnes, London and joined theatre. Today he is a stunning heartthrob and is best known for his role as Edward Cullen in "Twilight" series. Other notes roles are "Remember Me" and "water For Elephants"

8. Michael Fassbender

He is a German-Irish actor and gained his popularity with the movie "Inglorious Basterds." Before his movie career he served at the church as an altar boy and later joined Drama Centre in London. He is best known his roles in "Magneto," "Prometheus," "Hunger" and more.

9. Hugh Jackman

Hugh Michael Jackman is an actor of Australian descent. He is also a Broadway actor and has performed theatre. He is well known for his work in "X-Men" film series at present. Other remarkable works that he is known for are "Van Helsing," "The Prestige," "Real Steel" and "Les Miserables".

10. Bradley Cooper

Bradley Charles Cooper, is an American actor who started his career with television. His characters in "Alias" and "Jack and Bobby" TV series are much admired. He worked in Philadelphia Daily News before he went into acting. He made his noted film appearance in the movie "Wedding Crashers." His most notes works are "The Hangover trilogy," "The A-Team" and recently "Silver Linings Playbook."
