The much awaited trailer of the upcoming Bollywood rom-com Shuddh Desi Romance is out online and it is trending on social networking site Twitter. Suddh, produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Parneeti Chopra and model Vaani Kapoor in lead roles.

Offline, Yash Raj Films has chosen Jaipur's Raj Mandir to launch the trailer of Shuddh Desi Romance as the movie is based in Jaipur. Opened in June 01, 1976, Raj Mandir is one of the oldest theatres in India.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the movie is scheduled for release on September 13, 2013. Sachin-Jigar duo have composed the music of the movie and it is written by Chak De India fame writer Jaideep Sahni. The movie also stars veteran actor Rishi Kapoor.

Makers of the movie are positioning it as a "fresh and very real love story about the hair-raising minefield between love, attraction and commitment ... finally a romantic comedy that tells it like it is."

Yash Raj Films intends to release Shuddh Desi Romance in a digital print as it is likely to save money. "The process could save up to R 50 to R 70 lakh for the makers." a source told India's leading tabloid. However, it could "hamper the chances of the film being shown across all cinemas."Delhite Vaani Kapoor is making her debut with Shuddh Desi Romance and she had inked a three movie deal with Yash Raj banner. It is an important movie for both Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. Indian T.V. actor Sushant made his Bollywood debut with hit movie Koi Poi Che this year and a lukewarm response for his second movie, and first as a solo male lead, may hamper his promising Bollywood career. National Award winner Parineeti Chopra is touted as one of the most talented Bollywood actresses among the young actresses but she cannot afford a flop as her previous movie Ishaqzaade did not set the box office on fire.
