Felipe Anderson of Lazio has publically responded of his link to English Premier League (EPL) club Manchester United, stating that he is unsure about his future with the Italian club.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder made his debut for the Brazil national team last year and has found the net 15-times for Lazio in his 64 appearances for the club.

Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal’s tactics has been stated as “boring” by fans and critics alike and the United hierarchy is looking to bring in a creative spark in the winter transfer window. Felipe Anderson fits the bill perfectly for the Red Devils.

“My future? I don’t know if I’ll stay in January” Anderson said, as reported by express.co.uk.

The Brazilian also stated that he is focused on his game at the moment but is unsure where his future lies at the end of the January transfer window.

Igli Tare, sporting director of Lazio was forced to comment on the rumours and suggested that a bid of £37.6 million (AU $77.4 million) was made for the Brazilian last summer.

“We have not received any offer from Manchester United this month, but we refused an offer from them on August 27, 2015 worth £37.6 million. We rejected Manchester United’s offer because we think he will be worth much more once he really explodes. His situation has not changed compared to August.” Tare said, according to independent.co.uk.

Van Gaal is under fire and was believed to be on the verge of getting sacked until United won against Swansea City, followed by an uninspiring win against Sheffield United in the FA Cup. United also drew 3-3 with Newcastle United away from home in their last Premier League match.

Anderson is an amazing talent and his creativity might be what United is looking for. The Red Devils would love to get their season back on track after the worst December campaign in the clubs 138-year history.

Meanwhile, United midfielder Ben Pearson has joined Preston North End FC for £100,000 (AU $206,985).
