Transfer News: Real Madrid Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo Considers Manchester United Return [VIDEO]
Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo did not hide his desire to move back to the club where his name rose to stardom - Manchester United.
The flashy Portuguese was one of Alex Ferguson's greatest finds, if not the greatest, among world-class talents which include the likes of David Beckham, Eric Cantona, and Wayne Rooney.
"Well, of course, it was one of my favourite clubs, Manchester, everyone knows that every time when I speak about Real Madrid I should speak about Manchester United," said the 29-year-old before the Los Blancos' preseason clash with the Red Devils in Michigan on Saturday.
"I loved it there, I was 18 years old, I won everything there, the people treat me like a god there, so I appreciate it and the future nobody knows."
"For me it's one of the best clubs in the world and I have passion for this club."
Ronaldo wanted to leave the Santiago Bernabeu about two years ago as he felt that there wasn't enough backing from the club hierarchy when he came up short in winning the 2012 Ballon d'Or.
However, 2013 was a different story, wherein he was able to better his archnemesis Lionel Messi as the best player on the planet, en route to Champions League glory last May, which were perceived to be determining factors in penning an extension that will see him don the famous white shirt until 2018.
