Transformer star Rachael Taylor set to appear in Grey's Anatomy
Australian actress Rachael Taylor will be joining Grey's Anatomy for its seventh season. Taylor was last seen as Maggie in the Transformers franchise. Reportedly, Taylor will star in a multi-episode arc.
A source told the Entertainment Weekly, that the former model Australian's character in Grey's Anatomy is still under development. As of now, Taylor's character is yet to be conceived. Her appearance in Seattle Grace Hospital will reportedly be by mid-season. Taylor will play a doctor, which is almost expected as the series revolves around the life of several doctors, with Ellen Pompeo playing the titular character Meredith Grey.
The 26-year old Rachael debuted in the Australian program headLand. She broke to her current Hollywood stature by starring in Transformers films and in Shutter opposite former Dawson's Creek star Joshua Jackson. Aside from Grey's Anatomy, Taylor is also set to appear in Summit Entertainment's 2011 alien invasion flick The Darkest Hour.
Grey's Anatomy will return with Season 7 on Sept. 23.
