Reports suggest that "Transformers 5" may be heading toward the Beast Wars story arc. If true, it would give the producers an opportunity to introduce more robots in the new movie. The new robots would be from both the good and the bad factions.

According to a report by Fashion & Style, the new movie may introduce the Predacons and Maximals robot factions. The former belongs to the evil Decepticons faction while the later belongs to the Autobots faction. Here is a look at some of the top robots from both the factions the producers can consider introducing.

Maximal #1 - Optimus Primal

The leader of the Maximals, Optimus Primal can transform into a giant gorilla. Intelligent and resourceful, he has fought many battles against the Predacons. His actions, which include saving the lives of his friends, inspire loyalty.

Maximal #2 - Cheetor

As the name suggests, this Maximal can turn into a robot cheetah and is the fastest among his peers. He is enthusiastic and always eager to fight. The young robot has huge respect for Optimus Primal but doesn't get along with Dinobots very well.

Maximal #3 - Rhinox

Perhaps the strongest of all the Maximals, Rhinox and his brute strength coupled with his twin chain guns can make him a visual treat if introduced in "Transformers 5." He has good relations with the other robots in his team and also has a soft side.

Predacon #1 - Megatron

The age old enemy of the Autobots may continue to create trouble for the heroes, although in a different form. In the Beast Wars story arc, Megatron turns into a powerful Tyrannosaurus Rex. He is the leader of the Predacons and has a huge number of followers.

Predacon #2 - Scorponok

Scorponok can turn into a giant scorpion. Although he looks menacing, he is shown to be a little dull-witted in the Beast Wars story arc. The character is often used as comic relief and does not play a major role in the plots.

Predacon #3 - Tarantulas

Perhaps the creepiest of all the Predacons, Tarantulas conducts weird experiments and has a characteristic evil laugh. His allegiance to Megatron is questionable and his real motives for fighting against the Maximals are not known. Will these robots with diverse personalities feature in "Transformers 5"?
