Transformers: Dark of the Moon has just released a new trailer. The latest instalment marks the return of Shia LaBeouf, and Josh Duhamel, and the debut of Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who replaced Hollywood actress Megan Fox in the franchise.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is the third installment in the Transformers film series, and will see the return of Michael Bay to the director's chair. Like the previous film, Dark of the Moon has Steven Spielberg as its executive producer. It is scheduled for release in July 1 next year in 3D.

Megan Fox's character Mikaela has been dropped for the third film. Thus, in the final film Sam, played by LeBeaouf will have a new love interest played by the English model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Interestingly, Michael Bay has directed a commercial for Victoria's Secret, for which Rosie used to model.

No details on the plot yet, but according to reports the third Transformer film will find the Autobots and Decepticons involved in a space race between the U.S. and Russia. Watch the trailer below:
