Triple H Gets Nod Into 2015 International Sports Hall Of Fame
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Executive Vice-President Paul "Triple H" Levesque adds another accolade to his impressive resume after having been named into the 2015 roster of inductees to the International Sports Hall of Fame. The man who made the pedigree move a famous manoeuvre will be joining other notable sports personalities such as boxing heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, eight-time bodybuilding titleholder Lenda Murray, and moviestar Jai White among other notable personalities.
Levesque was ecstatic with the distinction as the non-profit foundation is making him the youngest WWE executive to receive such award. The award giving ceremonies is part of the annual Arnold Schwarzenegger sports festival and explains that adding Triple H to their growing list of inductees is an honour. Triple is included in the 2015 class for his accomplishment as a wrestler and an executive of the WWE, for which the current head of The Authority was very much grateful. Triple H will be joining the other aforementioned names in a plush ceremony on Mar. 7 at Columbus, Ohio.
"It is an honor to join some of the world's greatest athletes and to be inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame," Levesque said in the official website of the WWE. "These men and women have reached the pinnacle of their sport or athletic endeavor, and I am humbled to join them on stage at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival."
Triple H's distinction comes at an opportune time as his team The Authority is reinstated to its seat of power in the WWE. The executive is currently preparing for two upcoming blockbuster pay-per-view events in the 2015 Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 31. Triple H reportedly held a telant's meeting before Monday Night Raw to divulge that company has not yet clamped down on who will win the Royal Rumble event on Jan. 25.
The WWE is weighing its options as it has recently welcomed back to its fold previously injured stars Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, who are both potential winners in the 30-man brawl. Whoever emerges as the winner in the ring-tossing extravaganza will have the right to challenge for the world heavyweight championship at Wrestlemania 31 in March. Apart from this, Triple H has also positioned his man heel Seth Rollins for the chance to take the main spot by adding him to a three-way match for the championship in Royal Rumble's main event.
All these complications and enticing options in the WWE once more prove how the team of the McMahons and Levesque have successfully kept the wrestling outfit afloat through all these years and eventually culminating to a lot of accolades for the show runners as evidenced by the latest Hall of Fame nod.
