‘True Blood’ Final Season: Filming Begins in January, No Love Scene for Bill-Eric
The filming on the final season of "True Blood" is scheduled to begin in January. Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton, will don the director's hat for the premiere episode. In an interview with Huffington Post, Moyer said that he has yet to get the script and that they begin shooting in January.
Talking about the possibility of Bill-Sookie reconciliation, Moyer told the Huffington Post that he "doesn't know whether it's possible given everything that's happened."
"I think that he (Bill) will always be and always was a key for Sookie to unlocking her womanhood and who she became and who she is and who she was. She won't forget that part of him. Whether there's any possibility of anything else, I don't know."
Moyer said that he does not know whether one gets to see Eric in the final season, or not. However, the actor said that he and Alex Skarsgard, who plays Eric in "True Blood," have often asked for a love scene between Eric and Bill. Yet, the writing team of "True Blood" has always shot down the idea.
"But our ( Eric and Bill) dream would be for my football team, West Ham United, to play his Swedish team, and would end up in some match-up that Bill and Eric happen to be able to get to," said Moyer to Huffington Post.
As reported earlier, Eric is not dead and will come to life in the upcoming, final season of "True Blood." Aside from his reincarnation, there is the possibility of a lady love in his life. According to reports, Eric's new love interest is Sylvie. The casting call post describes her as a 20-year-old, beautiful French woman who speaks French, fluently. Sylvie is likely to be introduced in the second episode of the final season. However, it is not yet confirmed whether her role will continue beyond episode 2.
"True Blue" will return for its final season sometime in summer, 2014. It will consist of ten episodes. Brian Buckner, executive producer of "True Blood," has said that they intend to bring "Sookie's story to a close with heart, imagination and, of course, fun."
