The production has begun on the final season of popular HBO series, "True Blood." The cast and crew of "True Blood" began filming the first episode of the final season on Monday, January 06, 2014.

As reported earlier, the premiere episode of "True Blood" Season 7 is directed by Stephen Moyer. The casting sheet leaked of the first episode revealed that the premiere episode is called "Jesus Gonna be Here."

The premiere episode will have multiple-flashbacks. The audience will get to see Sookie and Tara as little girls, while Bill's wife and daughter will also get screen-time in "Jesus Gonna be Here." The casting sheet also revealed that a number of new characters will be introduced in the first episode of final season.

In Season 6 finale, Eric was dressed in his birthday suit [read completely naked] and was reading a book atop a snow-clad mountain, under the sunlit, open sky. A fire soon consumed him. There was much speculation about whether he will be shown as alive or dead in the final season. The recent reports have confirmed that Eric will be shown not dead and a potential love interest will be introduced for him in the second episode of Season 7. The beautiful French woman, Sylvia, will be in her 20s and there is likely to be some steamy scenes between the two.

Alexander Skarsgard, who plays Eric, posted a photograph of himself on Instagram, saying "#southpole -30C What are you reading Alex? The script for season 7 of #truebloodHBO ? :-)" He is completely nude, just like his character was in the Season 6 finale. However, this time, he is sitting atop a toilet seat and reading. It is speculated that Skarsgard might have gone back to Antarctica to shoot the continuation of his Season 6 finale season, and the toilet-seat is just a spoof to throw the fans off the track.

"True Blood" is scheduled to return for its final run sometime in summer, 2014, with ten episodes.
