It is the storyline of Eric and Pam that the fans of HBO's popular vampire drama series should watch out for in the final season. In the Season 6 finale, Eric burst into flames atop a snow-clad mountain and Pam went in search of him. She may find him in the second episode, which is titled "I Found You," of Season 7.

Sam Trammell, who plays Sam Merlotte, has called the storyline of Pam and Eric "fun." Speaking about which storyline he finds exciting in the final season, the actor said to Zap2it: "The Pam and Eric storyline is really fun, and I'm really excited to see where that goes. I actually haven't read [all the scripts], but I'm really excited to see how they bring that to a close. And obviously what happens to Sookie and Bill as well. That's the obvious one."

The recently released one-line synopses of episode 3 to episode 6 suggest that Pam and Eric's storyline is going to be one of the main focuses in the upcoming, final season. In episode 3, which is titled "Fire in the Hole," Pam will be seen trying to motivate Eric, while in the episode 5, "Return of Oz," she and Eric will be seen going to Dallas for a fund-raiser.

The synopsis of episode 6, which is titled "Karma," reveals that Pam and Eric will be forging an unlikely alliance.

Meanwhile, there is much speculation about Bill, Sookie and Alcide's love triangle. Bill and Sookie are expected to be the end-game. "In the final season, we're telling a more personal story," Buckner had said to TV Guide Magazine. "We're going back to the original promise of the show: Bill and Sookie. People are going to be very surprised about the way we get there. There's romance, sadness and resolution."

"True Blood" is scheduled to premiere in Australia on June 23, 2014 on Showcase. The scheduled premiere date for HBO viewers is June 22.
