"True Blood" Season 7 is set to introduced a number of new characters, including a character called Gus. Yun Lee has been roped-in portray the character of Gus.

Deadline.com describes Gus, who is a Texas based Japanese businessman, as someone "whose bigger-than-life, urban cowboy demeanour nearly rivals the size of his large Stetsons." The man is seeking revenge and will stop at nothing till he accomplishes what he has set out to achieve.

As reported previously, there is a possibility of a new villain getting introduced in the premiere episode of "True Blood" Season 7. According to a TV Line report, the casting call described this character, called 'The Figure,' as "scary, hulking, ugly, mean and crafty... like Leatherface or Jason Voorhees, but this guy talks."

Stephen Moyer has directed the premiere episode, "Jesus Gonna Be Here," of the final season. The premiere episode is set to feature flashbacks of Sookie and Tara. They will be seen as ten-years-old.

Also, there will be flashback of Bill with his wife, Caroline, and daughter, Sarah. He will be seen as human in the year 1862, which is three years before he became a vampire, and there will some kind of clash between him and others over his thoughts on the war. It was in 1865 that Bill transformed into a vampire.

Meanwhile, E! Online reports that in one of the final episodes of "True Blood" final season, the focus of a flashback will mainly centre on Tara. It will provide a glimpse of her troubled childhood. This flashback is set to feature Tara's father, Joe. According to E! Online, Joe is a "scary, abusive drunk of a father." In addition to Tara and Joe, young Sookie and Lafayette will also be seen in the flashback.

For the final season, "True Blood" returns to its original theme of human-vampire relationship. It is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, June 22, 2014.
