“True Blood” just brought back Sarah Newlin, and she will be doing more than just practice yoga in the show. Anna Camp has revealed how her character will be shaking up the residents of Bon Temps with her return.

Spoiler warning: The following contains spoilers about the recent and the next episodes of “True Blood.”

The latest episode of the HBO series, “Fire in the Hole,” started with a brunette Sarah in a wellness retreat. Later on, after she had sex with her guru, a group of Yakuza came to look for her. When her guru lover refused to disclose her location, which was just in the next room, the Yakuza unceremoniously killed him off.

It can be remembered in the last season that Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) spared her life, hoping to see the last of her. However, as the viewers found out last episode, Sarah is back, and it looks like everyone is looking for her.

Speaking to TVLine, Camp admitted that like the viewers, she was surprised with Sarah’s return.

“It’s not what I expected at all,” she told the Web site of Sarah’s whereabouts. “She’s definitely on the run; she’s got Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) after her now, and the Yakuza. So she’s hiding out, she’s dyed her hair brown, she’s not wearing much make-up, and she’s thrown her high heels out the window. She’s trying to survive now. This season is about Sarah trying to survive.”

Sarah will also be reuniting with her past lover, Jason, the very same man who allowed her to live, and who was the love of Rev Steve Newlin, her anti-vampire gay ex-husband who was turned into a vampire in season six.

Sarah and Jason’s reunion will not be “in a way that you would expect,” though. As Camp described it, “It actually can be pretty funny and pretty sad. So we’ll see what happens. It’s very unexpected the way that I end up interacting with Jason this time around.”

Camp is currently filming the sequel to the 2012 surprise hit “Pitch Perfect.”
