The online media was abuzz with the news about the chilling first teaser of "American Horror Story" Season 4, which is subtitled "Freak Show." This first official teaser, however, has turned out to be fan-made.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, FX has confirmed that they have not released any teaser and the one that has caught the attention of everyone is a fan's creation. This fan's creation, however, does not look like a work of an amateur. It perfectly fits with the upcoming freak show story-line of the new season.

The fan-made video is a chilling 0.21 sec clip, featuring a fallen angel. It tells the gruesome truth about the wings on a performer. The teaser opens with revealing the face of a gloomy, lifeless girl, sporting the wings of an angel. It ends with the horrifying revelation that the wings have been chiselled on the bare back of the girl. A grim looking, mimic can be seen standing behind, operating the wooden levers to move the wings. The creator perhaps is hinting about the horrifying reality of the performers performing in the freak shows.

"Freak Show" is set in 1950s and features Jessica Lange as a German ex-pat running one of the last freaks in the U.S. The performers in her freak show have been rescued by her and they will do anything to keep the show running. This freak show will be based in Jupiter, Florida. However, the filming is set to begin this month in New Orleans.

"American Horror Story-Freak Show" is expected to air sometime in October 2014. Later this month on July 26, at the Comic-Con, cast members Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Michael Chiklis, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts and executive producer of the show, Tim Minear, are expected to preview the new season. This panel will also discuss about Season 3, "American Horror Story-Coven"

Meanwhile, the last season of "American Horror Story-Coven" has received 17 Emmy nominations this year. This includes acting nominations in the mini-series category for Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange, and Frances Conroy.
