Truth Behind Cory Monteith's Personality: Jane Lynch Reveals Actor Was A Real Giver
On July 16th Jane Lynch took for a quite walk in West Hollywood, California. The 53 year old Glee star made a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno where she got emotional about the late co-star Cory Monteith who had a sudden demise over the weekend.
Jane showed the people the real side of Cory Monteith and told the audience that, " He was one of the warmest person and was a real bright light. He was esoteric and he knew the gift that Glee was to him and us."
She further revealed the adventurous personality of Cory saying, "He had an adventurous bone. I always liked how he would get up...you know, he would fly to Mexico; he'd throw parties for his friends. I don't think there was even one day when he did not live to the fullest. He shone like a real bright light in our family and we've lost a really great guy."
She even said that the world should remember him as a real giver. "He once flew across the country on his own nickel to meet with a sick kid [whose] last wish was to meet him. That's just the kind of guy he was."
Cory Monteith played the role of Finn Hudson in the popular series Glee. He was dating the co-star Lea Michele and who was helping him to get over her substance addiction. But the autopsy report revealed on Monday that Cory could not give up his addiction in spite of seeking help at Betty Ford Center.
There were high levels of alcohol and heroin found in his system which led to his death. In regards to this, his friend told E! News, "Cory was fighting with his demons but they won. He wasn't going out and doing these things to have fun. He couldn't stop. He tried. He just couldn't."
