Finally, it was confirmed that Jason Lees, who committed suicide after killing his own son by throwing him off of the Brisbane's Story Bridge, was facing relationship problems.

While friends and families continued paying tribute to the late highly-regarded teacher and his son Brad, it was figured out that Mr. Lees was having some relationship issues with his wife Danielle.

His grieving family has been unwilling to discuss about his distressed life during the final days of his living. However, a neighbor witnessed a saddening scene of him crying at the back of the house while his child was hugging him.

His neighbor Marlene Stephens, whose house is just next to Mr. Lees' home, described Mr. Lees crying last year at the back stairs. According to her, the little boy followed and hugged his dad. Marlene said she could never forget that scene.

The incident that happened at the Story Bridge on Monday early morning is regarded by the authorities as a murder-suicide.

Ms. Stephens noticed him going outside at around 2:30 a.m. as she heard the door opening and shutting in his house, but didn't mind it.

She said she always waved at Brad. The little boy was a happy and lovely child. She has seen how great the family was while laughing together.

The Courier-Mail wasn't able to contact Mr. Lees' wife, who is a psychologist from the Gold Coast. Her family refused to comment on the incident.

Jason Lees took a LOA in 2010 to officiate a rugby game in Canada and also to spend more time together with his family. He had a successful career in teaching and being a good international rugby sevens referee.

Everyone around him was deeply shocked with what had happened. It was indeed unbelievable that a lovely teacher and a good father to do such a thing.

Meanwhile, close friends, co-workers, relatives and other people who know him continued paying tributes by putting flowers at the park where dead bodies were found.
