TV Show Offspring: More Awkward Moments, Heartache, Joy, And Plenty of Surprises in Season Four (Video Teaser)
Australia's hit drama series Offspring promises more surprises in season four.
To all loyal viewers of the hit TV drama series Offspring - here is a sneak peek into the show's exciting fourth season which starts airing in two weeks!
In this clip released by Network 10, the new season promises the return of Nina Proudman, the show's 30-something neurotic heroine, and the rest of the hilarious cast. Plus, more awkward moments within the Proudman family are squeezed in there too.
Judging by the teaser, it seems like viewers can expect more heartache for Billy (Kat Stweart), tears for Nurse Cherie (Deborah Mailman), and more confusion for Nina (Asher Keddie) and Patrick (Matthew Le Nevez) as they get ready for the new baby.
Season three ended showing Patrick and Nina finally declaring their long-standing love for each other after resolving Nina's possible pregnancy. It will be recalled that last season's finale took on a rom-com approach in dealing with the couple's issue by putting them through a very public reunion. Viewers say it was just fitting because of Patrick and Nina's communication woes.
"With an audience (Nina and Patrick) had to make more of an effort to communicate," said Debra Oswald and Imogen Banks, the brains behind the show.
Aside from the new twists and turns in season four, viewers can also expect to see new faces joining the cast. Ten has announced the inclusion of Kiwis Caren Pistorius and Ido Drent who are set to play the roles of hot new doctor and relationship counsellor, respectively. Not that Patrick and Nina need relationship counselling, right?
Offspring's much awaited fourth season will start airing on May 22, Wednesday, as confirmed by Ten. It will take the primetime slot of Mr. & Mrs. Murder.
As the teaser suggests, this poses to be "the biggest chapter of Nina's life." So don't miss out!
