Twilight actress Ashley Greene is indifferent when it comes to marriage.Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in Twilight Saga, made the statement in the accompanying interview for her January 2011 Cosmopolitan cover.

In her cover for Cosmopolitan, Ashley appears in an unbuttoned white polo tied just above the waist, and a denim shorts.

The 23-year old Hollywood actress is currently dating Joe Jonas. In the interview for the magazine, Greene seems to imply that she does not believe that marriage is forever, which is quite contrary to what her Twilight brother Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson, believes.

"I'm indifferent about marriage. I think sometimes people get married so they can say they have that person forever," she dished. "But a ring doesn't ensure that you'll stay together.

"Watch, now that I've said that I will be the first of my friends to get married!"

Curiously, the next Twilight film Breaking Dawn will see Robert Pattinson's character and Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart get married and honeymoon in Brazil. Their marriage, as those who had read the novels know, will certainly last forever as Bella will eventually be turned into a vampire mid-way to the finale.

Greene will next be seen in The Apparition set to be released next year. In the upcoming thriller, Ashely plays Kelly, who together with boyfriend Ben played by Sebastian Stan (Kings, Gossip Girl) discover they are being haunted by a "presence" that was conjured during a parapsychology experiment.
