"Twilight" actress Nikki Reed and "American Idol" former contestant Paul McDonald tied the knot last Sunday in a private wedding held in Malibu.

Yes, you heard that right! Beautiful actress Nikki Reed is now wearing a wedding ring and married to Paul McDonald after four months of engagement.

The couple shared the great news to their fans and followers via Twitter.

Paul McDonald tweeted "Yesterday was the most amazing day of my life...everything was perfect." It is followed by a tweet "I'm officially a MARRIED MAN! Woohoo!"

Nikki Reed, on the other hand retweet her husband's statement, "Yesterday was the most magical day of my life..."

In the course of their short boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, the two became public of their love for each other.

"She's amazing. It's kind of one of those things you don't expect," he said. "Like, last year I never would have thought I'd be getting married. She's amazing. She's the perfect girl. We fit each other. When you know, you know, and she's the one," Paul McDonald said in one of his interviews.

Nikki said that Paul participated in the wedding plans. She said that her husband sat on his computer and work on the songs for the wedding.

The low profile couple exchanged vows in a private ranch in Malibu in front of their families and friends.

The two met each other in the premiere of "Red Riding Hood" last March. They got engaged last June.
