Everyone seems to be cashing in on the vampire trend. The latest will be the television series Supernatural. Reportedly, the series will spoof the Twilight saga in an up-coming episode for its sixth season. A character named "Robert" will be introduced, an obvious reference to Twilight film star Robert Pattinson.

"On Episode 6.06 we will see a character called "Robert" who is meant to be Robert Pattinson type and "Boris" a large and frightening Vampire," Spoiler TV posted on Wednesday.

Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as brothers Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester, who travels around the country hunting demons and other supernatural element.s Ackles got the ire of Twilight fans when he joked that fans of the Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart starrer are "crazy" and "have [no] self-respect."

The series can not be blamed for trying to ride the vampire trend as it was previously reported that vampire flicks earned $7 billion since Twilight debuted in theaters in 2008. Television series soon followed the trend with series like True Blood which The Hollywood Reporter projects will make $50-$75 million if the series will complete at least five seasons. Supernatural returns to The CW later this month on the 24th.
