The final series of the box-office hit, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 may not have earned any awards at the recently concluded 85th Academy Awards, but there's a reason for millions of its tween fans to rejoice (or should they be) since the film has been slammed with seven awards (dishonor) at the 33rd Razzie Award.

The Breaking Dawn Part 2 received an unfortunate accolade of "the worst movie of the year." But that's not all. The film, starring real-life on-and-off lovers Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been mauled with yet another six other awards.

-Worst Picture of the Year
-Worst Actress for Kristen Stewart
-Worst Supporting Actor for Taylor Lautner
-Worst Screen Couple for Taylor Lautner and 12-year-old Mackenzie (who played Renesmee in the movie)
-Worst Screen Ensemble
-Worst Remake/ Rip-Off Sequel
-Worst Director for Bill Condon

Seven awards. Had it been at The Oscars 2013, the 2012 film popularized more by the Twilight lovebirds Robert and Kristen, would have gone home a big winner, err, "loser."

The Razzie Awards began in 1980. It was created to mock winners, nominees and the general ideas represented by the prestigious and annual, Academy Awards.

This year's "Shame" awards was even held a few yards away from the Dolby theater, last Saturday evening, a day before the much-anticipated Academy Awards.

Nominees and winners of the annual Razzies awards are scrutinized by an estimated 650 members of the Golden Raspberry Foundations. Results of the voting processed are announced on the movie review website called, Rotten with an average 70,000 votes cast.
