While guesting on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno," Taylor Lautner was questioned by Martha Stewart about his love life.

After the 19-year-old "Twilight" hunk had already finished his interview with Jay Leno, Leno's other guest, Martha Stewart asked the one question on everyone's mind: Is he single? Taylor Lautner made a lot of people very happy with his answer.

"I have no one currently. Sad," Taylor admitted, making the crowd scream in excitement. According to a source on the set, Taylor also dished about his new facial hair while the cameras were off.

"I just like the stubble," he said when Jay Leno asked if he was planning on growing a beard.

"I like having a five o'clock shadow," the "Twilight" hunk added.

This is good news for the ladies if Taylor Lautner is single again. It has been confirmed that Taylor Lautner indeed split up with short-term girlfriend and "Abduction" co-star Lily Collins.

"It was a clean break that Taylor initiated," a close friend of the pair told "Us Weekly." The insider further added that though both stars are attending the premiere for the film "Abduction" together, Lautner and Collins had actually decided to call it quits a week before the big night.

"At the Abduction party, it was awkward. They barely said a word to one another," the source shared. Though there was no reason given for the couple's break-up, Taylor was heard gushing about his former beau fairly in interviews.

"You can feel some sort of chemistry or a connection when you are reading a script with someone for the first time. That was totally the case with Lily," Lautner said.

However, this connection that he spoke about from now on will only be on-screen. According to a source, the "Twilight" heartthrob wants to be single for a while so that he can properly move on.
