Twilight star, Kristen Stewart screen tested to play Snow White
K-Stew confirms screen-testing for Snow White
Hollywood’s 2010 highest earning actress and Twilight star, Kristen Stewart has screen tested to play as Snow White for "Snow White and the Huntsman". The camp of Robert Pattinson’s girlfriend, K-Stew confirmed that she is testing for the title role for film.
The Examiner.com noted that the deal is not finalized yet but added that K-Stew’s camp and Universal Picture are seriously considering the role. The studio offered K-Stew of the leading role after a series of test screenings with other actresses has been undertaken, including Riley Eough, Felicity Jones and Alicia Wikander. Emily Browning has earlier been reported as also vying for the role.
Snow White is expected to be released in 2012 and will be directed by Rupert Sanders. Should she end up with the role, K-Stew will be joining Lord of the Ring’s actor, Viggo Mortensen, who was cast to play as the Huntsman. The Twilight’s, Bella will also work with Charlize Theron, who plays the evil queen.
